Assalamualaikum.
Sedar tak sedar, Semester 1 2009/2010 di CFS IIUM dah lama berlalu. Semester 1 yang mengajar saya erti berjauhan dengan keluarga, cara nak buat semua perkara secara berdikari dan sebagainya. Dan sebelum berakhirnya Sem 1 ni, ada la final exam, hanya seminggu lepas Raya Aidilfitri baru-baru ni. Memang kurang best raya, sebab tak rasa raya. Erk? :P
Okey.. back to the topic, FINAL EXAM. The result has been announced on last Thursday. Let me give a brief review on what had happened during the week :D
English (Reading, Writing, Grammar, Listening)

First paper ain't gonna be an easy one. Haha. Writing was just so-so. And so the reading part. Grammar was a bit okay. But a big NO to listening. I don't know, maybe I have sound trouble, or maybe mind-drift. I couldn't really focus to the speakers, but Alhamdulillah, I managed to fill all the blanks. :)

Very tough compared to the quizzes and mid-sem. It's my fault actually to depend entirely on Mdm's note. I tried to read the text book, but it was just so boring. I just flipped thru it, and I fell asleep. Hahahah.

Alhamdulillah. The questions were easier compared to mid-sem. Alhamdulillah for no more Arabic terms asked in the paper. Alhamdulillah, the ayaat appeared on the paper were the ones that I memorized. Thanks to Him.

This one, I never knew the carry mark, so I couldn't make any assumption of how many questions I may get wronged or whatsoever. I just did the exercises during the night. Thank you so much to Yana. She has been helping me lots, day and night. Alhamdulillah, the questions were easier than the exercises I guess, tho I knew I made the calculations wrong here and there. By the way, I got to know the carry marks just after the exam, and FYI it really turned me down. Thank Allah I didn't know it earlier. If not, I wouldn't have done any better in the Final. Everything happens for a reason, ain't it?

Since the gap is very distant, I'd no mood to study. Past-year questions are totally clean and clear. And for the fact that this was the last paper for core courses, my thought was only to finish it as quick as possible. I couldn't wait to be free ! Haha. I didn't know what happened during the exam. I was just so sleepy and I was a bit irritated with the question's style. Just names of chemical substances, but there were no formulae.
After Chemistry 1, I had a 4-day gap for the last exam, English (Speaking). So, on Friday my roommates and I went to MidValley, for unwind-purpose. Haha. Next, on Saturday, I rushed back to Gombak, Abe Re's house since the family was going to hold a party for Aiman. On Sunday, I went back to CFS as there's English extra class for Speaking test.

I was scheduled to be at the exam venue, Room E004 at 1130. I was nervous since this speaking test was a one-to-one interview (Between me and the lecturer). I waited till my name was called. When I stepped in the room, the brother said "Yes Hafizah, you're the last person for today." And, he grinned from ear to ear. A big thanks to the brother for being all-smile during the test which in a way made me less nervous. And a bigger thanks to you for giving me a less difficult topic to discuss on. Haha ;)
And here is the result :
